After a rigorous audition process I was selected as one of the major contributors to Series 2 of The Piano broadcast by Channel 4 and produced by Love Productions. The show was a search for the top amateur pianists in the UK. I was selected from of applicants across the UK. I was filmed at both public and private locations, performing a variety of pieces on the piano whilst a professional film crew recorded me. I enjoyed narrating direct to camera on many occasions and filming back story out on location. I was interviewed by Claudia Winkleman, the host of the show and had my playing judged by top international performers and artists Mika and Lang Lang who offered me constructive feedback during the process. The episode that I feature in was broadcast to the UK on 5/5/24 after a year in production. You can see my performance on Channel 4’s streaming service. A bitesize 32-second clip of my performance was the most-viewed video on Love Production’s X (Twitter) feed.
