ABOUT RHEA FERNANDES

I think the best way to know what you want, is trying everything and eliminating things that don\'t resonate with you. From a very young age, I have tried a varied number of things (From Calculus to Dancing) and realised a lot about things I want and don\'t. I know this is still an ongoing process.You might see a lot of skills on my profile. Yes, I experiment alot because new technologies excite me and there is and should never be any limitation on learning. There is also the joy of being able to know, when to use what and understanding the purpose of each.I\'m focused on growing my career towards building- secure, scalable, data-driven systems and I hope to one day achieve end to end expertise in designing my own. I\'m experienced in building microservices, API\'s and websites. I\'ve also setup a few data pipelining systems but majorly worked in backend technologies like Java, Scala, Play Framework to build REST Api\'s. Along with this I have done a fair bit of work on UI using Html, Bootstrap/Material and React.I have worked for DIKSHA, a platform for education now Adopted by the Government of India.(https://diksha.gov.in/) Diksha incorporates additional digital learning outside the curriculum using textbook embedded QR codes along with a new fun theme. I have also worked as a freelancer in my free time on an app based on contactless ordering at restaurants.You can see more of my work on github:/rheafernandes
