As the Publicity Officer for both University of Surrey and Leicester’s Hindu Society, my primary responsibility is to promote and raise awareness about our society\'s activities, events, and initiatives both within the university community and beyond. This involves creating engaging content for social media platforms, designing posters, flyers, and digital materials, and disseminating information through various channels such as email newsletters, university websites, and campus notice boards.I work closely with other committee members to develop marketing strategies that effectively reach our target audience and attract participation from students of all backgrounds. Additionally, I collaborate with external organizations, media outlets, and community partners to expand our reach and foster connections with individuals interested in Hindu culture, traditions, and values.In addition to promoting events, I also strive to maintain a positive and inclusive online presence, ensuring that our society\'s messaging aligns with our values of diversity, respect, and unity. By effectively managing our society\'s public image and communication channels, I aim to enhance the visibility and impact of the Hindu Society within the university and create a welcoming environment for all students interested in exploring Hindu culture and spirituality.

I am currently studying an MSc in Strategic Marketing at the University of Surrey. I have graduated from the University of Leicester with a First Class Honors in BA Management Studies with a Year in Industry.I’m creative, confident and I value dedication and drive when it comes to my work. I am a very self-motivated individual, having an eye for attention to detail. I approach tasks with a professional and compassionate manner developing many skills that I hope to transfer and develop onto a placement year in conjunction to my university degree. I hold many positions of responsibilities, such as, in my high school and sixth form college I was Head Girl, Anti Bullying Ambassador, Peer Support, Mentor and a Student Council Member.
