About Rhea Naik
Hi! I am a second-year student at UC Davis majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior (NPB) within the College of Biological Sciences. I\'m interested in studying the interdisciplinary aspects of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. I\'m also interested in CS, political science, data science, psychology, biotechnology, and bioengineering/biomedical engineering (especially in medical devices and prosthetics). I\'m passionate about creating inclusive spaces for all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as other significant contributors to academia, the sciences, the arts, and undergraduate and graduate student-level research on college campuses across the country. Additionally, I hope to help enhance accessibility to academic and mental health resources for students in all on-campus and off-campus jobs, undergraduate spaces across the UCs, and, in the future, all schools across the United States. After I graduate, I want to go to medical school to specialize in pediatrics/family medicine/psychiatry/neurology, start my own research lab to study HSAM (Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory), and help law firms that specialize in medical malpractice, corporate, patent, or intellectual property law. I am open to internships and opportunities in wet lab research, animal research, medicine, programming for human-computer interface research labs, public health, law, and marketing.
