I’m an award-winning storyteller, with 10+ years of diverse experience in news writing and editing, content and social media marketing, community management, web production, and public relations. I\'m an editor on the politics desk at Insider, Inc. and have covered the coronavirusm, racial and police reckoning in the US, the election, impeachment trial, and Capitol insurrection. I\'ve also written for NBC Universal, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Bay Area News Group, and more. At home in a demanding and competitive environment, I’ve covered news events that shaped California’s history, including the North Bay wildfires, San Jose floods, Oakland warehouse fire, anti-Trump protests in the Bay Area, the shooting of Kathryn Steinle in San Francisco, and People v. Turner. This work earned my team and I two Emmy nominations and two Edward R. Murrow awards, among other honors. I’m an analytical and meticulous self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of multi-tasking and handling tight deadlines. Trilingual, with a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Soka University of America, I\'ve also earned a reputation as a creative, resourceful and enthusiastic manager and team player.
