The Pediatric Dental Team Association (PDTA) exists to give voice to and acknowledge the specialized skills and expertise of our members. The PDTA engages this mission by furthering the education of members, providing more engagement within their practices, and enriching the lives of all who(m) we touch through personal and professional growth opportunities.I set out to help ensure pediatric dental team members obtain the continuing education they require to be professional and competent in the pediatric dental workplace by founding both the Atlanta Pediatric Dental Assistant School and the Pediatric Dental Team Association.I am committed to all pediatric dental team members having access to continuing education that further enhances their knowledge and skills in and out of the dental office. Through this knowledge and enhanced skills, you, their employer dentists, and the patients they serve, will benefit from the exceptional clinical and customer service skills they possess. Providing the best dental care to the pediatric patient as well as providing the ultimate customer service for the families in their pediatric practice ensures the ultimate personal and employer satisfaction. There are currently over 160 clinical and non-clinical training modules online 24/7 that address all your practice\'s needs. The clinical modules were developed to assist my Atlanta Pediatric Dental Assistant School students in learning basic dental asistant skills and procedures. Pediatric Dentists throughout the world can use use these modules to help new hires in your practices learn faster, become more proficient and productive quicker, while utilizing a blend of online training and one-on-one training in your office. This allows you to train a new hire or any team member that wants to learn a new skill, by first utilizing the online videos. Then use an existing team member to tweak the training for your practice - improving both efficiency and productivity in your practice
