I am the owner of Defrostatica, an independent bass music label that develops and showcases emerging and established artists from Leipzig and from countries around the world. As a label manager and A&R manager, I combine my love of jungle music and breakbeat culture with my ever-evolving roles since the mid-90s: from DJ to producer to promoter to platform founder and author to label founder and artist developer. With Defrostatica I produce and distribute high quality music, run press and marketing campaigns for releases, organise events, and build a loyal and diverse fan base for the artists the label represents.Initiated by a sync deal of Spanish artists for a German tech company, I founded the sub-publishing company Edition Aiax in 2023 to offer all label artists an additional service in the future.
