ABOUT RYAN C. GRAYDON

The views and opinions provided herein are my own and do not necessarily represent the views of my current or former have expertise in the water-energy-health nexus, emerging contaminants of concern (e.g, PFAS). I\'ve created tools to assess environmental justice concern of community water systems, and developed strategies to increase adaptation and resiliency to climate change impacts.I completed a two-year fellowship at the International Joint Commission’s binational Great Lakes Regional Office in Windsor, Ontario, Canada where I performed research in support of the Great Lakes Water Quality Board and the Health Professionals Advisory Board. My primary projects included studying the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, and the effect of extreme rainfall events on water quality indicators and health outcomes of four cities that source their drinking water from the Great Lakes.Prior to the IJC, I earned the Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Global Health Practice and a Graduate Certificate in Water, Health, and Sustainability from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Taylor University. Partnering with host organizations, I have accumulated nearly two years of international service-learning experience across 26 countries. I am interested in sustainable global development and climate change mitigation and adaptation policies and programs.
