As a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I work on the Relational Database Systems (RDS) team, where I design, develop, and optimize scalable and reliable cloud-based database solutions for various customers and use cases. I enjoy programming and solving complex problems with creative solutions.I have a Master\'s degree in Systems Design Engineering (Specialization in ML & AI) from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences. During my studies, I gained valuable experience in data visualization, full-stack engineering, and data analysis, working on projects such as the COVID-19 Pakistan Economic Vulnerability Assessment, which highlighted the economic impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations in Punjab. I am passionate about applying software to novel and existing challenges, especially in the domains of data science, machine learning, and cloud computing.
