About Reza Azam

Reza has over fifteen years of experience primarily focused on enterprise/strategic risk management, internal audit, and controls over financial reporting. He has a proven ability to develop risk frameworks, evaluate risks, internal controls, and develop strategies to mitigate risk and strengthen the effectiveness of operations. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with business operators and leaders to strengthen their organization’s controls and risk culture. Prior to joining Meta (formally Facebook), Reza worked at HCL Technologies as part of the Office of the CRO and as part of Enterprise Risk, leading strategic risk initiatives for the company. At Aronson LLC, Reza helped lead the Risk Advisory Practice, delivering engagements in Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit. Before Aronson, Reza spent time at Deloitte where he led engagements in the realm of Internal Audit, SOX advisory, General IT Controls, and Data Privacy. He has various industry experience including Technology, Aerospace and Defense, Health Care, International Non-governmental Organizations (NGO), Real Estate, Retail, and the Federal Government. Throughout these experiences, he gained an understanding of the risks specific to each industry and has utilized past experiences to allow management to develop realistic and achievable action plans based on best practice procedures.
