An Executive Consultant with over 38 years of experience in all aspects of Electric Utility real-time operations and engineering.Prior to joining ESTA International, I was responsible for Austin Energy’s Control Engineering and Energy and Market Operations for 32 years, ABB’s power network applications developments for 2 years, and GE’s EMS/SCADA developments for 4 years.I am a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas since 1992, and an PES Senior member. I am an active contributor to DOE on new technologies focused on power production, renewable energy, transmission, and distribution new technologies, member of DistribuTech conferences advising board in the areas of Distribution Automation, Smart Grid, and disaster Management. I was also a member of the board for the Energy Management and Market Operations (EMMOS) Users organization conducting annual international conferences from 1995 to 2020.
