Working as a Residential Advisor, I work with students to provide a sense of community and support within their residence halls. I act as my resident’s hub of resources and provide any information needed, as well as on call duties. While on call, I watch over and manage the wellbeing of my assigned residence hall by completing bi-hourly walkthroughs and answer any calls that may arise. I have been trained to mitigate conflict, respond to urgent/emergency situations, work well with a team, and host events to foster relationships between individuals.

ABOUT REYNOLDS PEARCE
I am a Biology and Medical Anthropology student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focused on healthcare, service to society, and research. I’m preparing for a future in the medical field driven by a commitment to helping patients and expanding knowledge of the human body and its processes. I currently serve as a Residential Advisor under Carolina Housing, where I work with residents to support and guide residents. My work includes hosting monthly events within the community, connecting with students and providing assistance if needed. During the on call portion of the position, I respond to emergency situations and after hours community needs. I have also shadowed at Jeffers, Mann and Artman Pediatrics where I have begun my preparation for medical school and expanded my own knowledge of healthcare practices.
