ABOUT REYNOLDS DIAZ

Reynolds Diaz, Jr. is a designer interested in coalescing contemporary culture, materials and technologies. Born in Miami, Diaz earned a Master of Architecture degree from Florida International University as well as a Post-Professional Master of Science degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York, where he graduated with honors. Diaz was recently published for his success in the field of academia by Florida International University School of Architecture + The Arts. Diaz works have also been published through prestigious contemporary media outlets such as Suckerpunchdaily, eVolo, as well as his most recent alma mater’s publication, In Process 17. In addition, he was the recipient of the first place award for the New York City Casino Center competition in 2012.Through experience and education, Diaz materialized his expertise using advanced digital modeling techniques as well as Building Information Modeling programs. These techniques allow his involvement in the design processes to be articulate and thorough which in turn become excellent methods of communicating ideas. Diaz has nearly twenty years of architectural experience having both worked in Miami and New York City, including projects from the US, Bahamas, Saudi Arabia, Canada, China, Malaysia, Brazil and Colombia. Projects include luxury single-family homes, residential high-rises, casinos, retail, mixed-use buildings, resorts, master planning, commercial, stadiums, office towers and hospitality.
