I always thought my dream was to be a researcher in the social sciences, given my BA in Sociology. But after designing, managing and undertaking my own research projects, I realized I was happiest when doing three things: tapping into my creativity, thinking strategically and connecting with others. Research and discovery was tapping into my strategic thinking, but lacking in others - I wanted more.Since then, I\'ve worked for a multinational professional services firm where I\'ve been able to tap into different areas like communications, engagement, content creation and learning & development. I love being able to tap into my passions on a daily basis - whether that means getting to know stakeholders on a personal level, storytelling and drafting a blog post, producing visual communications or creating and managing the content on an intranet site. It\'s oddly satisfying for me.My specialties include quickly learning new skills and platforms, problem solving, instructional & responsive design principles, change management and corporate communications.
