Provide complete service water treatment and distribution services to residents of Santa Monica- Collect data such as chlorine residuals, depth, and flow at multiple collection points including wells- Operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system: responsible for controlling valves and pumps and collecting valuable water data at the Charnock water treatment plant- Conduct routine checks on pressure filters, greensand filters, chlorine tanks, meters, valves, pressure gages, Turbidimeters, and generators- Perform Backwashes on pressure filters to maximize efficiency in eliminating water contaminants- Coordinate various procedures with coworkers and city employees to provide a sufficient, high-quality, production of water- Implemented new data-collecting procedures among coworkers to improve productivity in periodic tasks.
