Rev. F. Lydell Brown is a pastor, executive leader, and community organizer with decades of experience at the intersection of faith, justice, economic opportunity, and community transformation. He serves as President and CEO of The Conference of Churches, where he leads a historic organization committed to advancing equity, collaboration, and community impact across Connecticut.He is also the Co-Founder of The224 EcoSpace, a hub in Hartford designed to support creatives, entrepreneurs, and community builders with space, structure, and opportunity. Under his leadership, The224 has become a place where vision, culture, and economic empowerment come together in practical ways.Rev. Brown is also the Pastor and Founder of Burning Bush Family Life Center, where he has faithfully led with a commitment to spiritual growth, community care, and transformative ministry. His leadership extends beyond the pulpit into public life through his work with The Concerned Black Clergy Council of Waterbury and Good Jobs CT, reflecting his deep commitment to racial equity, workforce development, and systems that create real pathways to stability and success.Known for his relational leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering heart for people, Rev.
