Senior Pastor Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as the Spiritual and administrative leader of the church.Has general supervision of the spiritual education, administrative work and activities in the church.Has general oversight of the Sunday worship services, Bible Study, Prayer meetings, and youth ministry programs and activities.Conduct Counseling, pre-marital counseling, weddings, funerals or memorial services at the church.Serves as the ex-officio director of all paid and volunteer staff.Serves as the ex-officio member on all other boards, ministries and committees in the church.Shall serve and organize as deemed necessary, direct hospital, jail, and home visitation and pastoral care programs to fulfil the spiritual needs of the church body.Serves as the official representative of the Church at ecclesiastical gatherings and functions.Leads the discipleship and evangelism programs at the church.
