As Global Chief Regulatory Editor at ION Analytics, I oversee all global regulatory content for our M&A titles: Mergermarket, Dealreporter and PaRR. My focus lies at the intersection between politics and investing, reporting primarily on developments in the political, regulatory and policy universe.At ION Analytics, we provide business information solutions that blend expert journalism and analysis, with market data, to support businesses identifying opportunities in their respective markets – ranging from equities and fixed income to infrastructure and private equity. Our M&A-focused services within that, including Mergermarket, Dealreporter and PaRR, provide industry professionals with leading predictive analysis in dealmaking, delivering the earliest possible signs of deals, opportunities, and threats in the market.I have nearly 20 years’ experience working at the nexus of M&A, politics, policy and regulation. I have developed a deep understanding of merger review processes, shifts in power among regulatory agencies and within governments, and complex cross-border matters. Prior to my current role, I held the Executive Editor position at financial news and data provider CTFN for over 5 years, leading the platform’s editorial and strategy efforts. Before this, I worked as a senior research director for an event-driven brokerage firm, following a brief tenure at Reorg Research – now Octus – where I helped to launch its Event Driven product. This followed nine years at Mergermarket, where I served as D.C. Bureau Chief and supported the launch of PaRR.
