As a 10 year US Army Signal Corps veteran, I have been around the information technology networking & communications realm for quite some time serving my country and protecting it all the same. I’ve enjoyed not only the hands on portion of learning how IT shapes the world we live in today; but also the managerial and training aspects of how when people work together, greater things happen for good of our lives, those around us, and the world overall. With this same concept in mind, I’m continuing to further advance my career into more of a civilian sector based platform where I can leverage my years of military service, knowledge, expertise with those around me to help grow the overall reach of IT and its facets wherein the consumers spectrum. In theory, I\'m now in a setting where likeminded individuals I may work with, manage, or also report to can all be in conquest to furthering the advancement of a company’s imprint and influence amongst the IT realm holistically.Dynamic self-starter and Army Officer Veteran with 12 years of collective experience related to IT, team management, program & project management, operations, contracting, sales, project delivery/migration, cybersecurity, marketing, and military leadership; with a consistent history of delivering value in challenging environments.    As an IT Project Manager, I oversee multiple large-scale IT projects and am responsible for leading a cross-functional team of 23 subject matter experts, analysts, and external contractors. I utilize Agile & Waterfall methods to define project objectives, developing project plans, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the successful timelines of all project deliverables. I provide real time updates via Smartsheet, MS Project, and other Project Management Information Systems (PMIS). I facilitate all team communication and collaboration, and mitigate project risks and issues. I also provide quality control for each project from its initiation through closeout, ensuring the successful delivery of the project to meet our customer’s mission, goals and objectives.
