I am a recent Web Development Bootcamp graduate with 7 years of experience in the culinary industry working primarily as a Sous Chef. As a Web Developer, I am looking to use my unique blend of creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to produce projects that will have have a real-world impact. As a former chef, I have a strong set of skills that I bring to my work as a web developer. Working as a team and leading a group to success was a large part of my former career, and as a web developer I believe that my communication, teamwork, and time management skills will transition over well to produce successful projects. With a background in the fast-paced and high-stress culinary world, I am able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality results. I am a quick learner with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node. I am particularly interested in front-end development. In my previous career, I excelled at creating enjoyable and seamless experiences for my guests, and I am excited to use those skills to bring similar enjoyment to end-users.
