ABOUT RESHMI LADWA
Reshmi Ladwa currently serves as Global Events Project Manager within the Corporate Affairs team at Arup. Her remit serves the Global Marketing, Communications, and Business Development service within the company. Reshmi is a WiSER Pioneer as part of the 2026 cohort. WiSER is an initiative founded by Masdar and the Zayed Sustainability Prize. WiSER is a platform that provides women with leadership training, sustainability knowledge and opportunities to connect with global leaders to address gender and sustainability challenges.Prior to this Reshmi served as Head of Operations and Partnerships at the Global Wind Energy Council and COP29 Programme Director at the Global Renewables Alliance. She has extensive experience in the wind and renewable energy trade association sector, driving global campaigns and initiatives to advance the adoption of renewable energy solutions.In 2023, Reshmi successfully led the Global Renewables Alliance in coordinating its first-ever global renewables delegation, comprising twenty eight private sector companies, at COP28. Her involvement spans five COP conferences, beginning with Glasgow. She has transformed a wind-sector-specific campaign into a broader global renewables initiative, aligning policy, government engagement, communications, and events workstreams. Reshmi’s ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments has fostered impactful coalitions and campaigns, strengthening the private sector’s role in the energy transition.Reshmi holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Energy Policy, and a qualification in Data Analytics from the London School of Economics.
