I graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2011 with a B.S. degree in cellular and molecular biology and a minor in chemistry. I have over 8 years of experience selling diamonds and fine jewelry and luxury brands. I have a proven record of exceeding both sales and product goals. I have a proven track record of being a multi-million dollar Diamond expert. I have experience selling GIA, EGLUSA, AGS, IGI, Forevermark, and non-certified diamonds. I have worked with luxury engagement ring and fine jewelry brands such as Tacori, Verragio, Henri Daussi, Christopher Designs, Jack Kelege, Ritani, Michael M, Simon G, Rolex, and many others. I have extensive diamond and colored stone knowledge. I also have experience with custom designing jewelry. When I was at Diamonds Direct, I had the most 5 star google reviews in all 14 locations at the time. I am excellent at building and maintaining a trusting, loyal customer base. I have excellent communication and follow-up skills. I also excel in a team setting. I am an excellent problem solver and a fantastic multi-tasker who enjoys a challenge. I am a huge overachiever! I completed my GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional degree in November 2012. I finished GIA\'s Diamond and Diamond grading course in December 2013. I was a charter member of the junior board for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Alabama Chapter. As a member of the junior board, I have helped plan an event that grossed more than I have also held multiple fundraising events for the AFSP on my own, raising over to date. I have participated in the Out of the Darkness Overnight walks in 2016 and 2017. I was one of the top fundraisers nationwide in the 2017 walk. I decided to run a 5k for the AFSP in 2018, having never run so much as a mile. Since that first 5k, I have run multiple half marathons and a marathon. I have also developed professional relationships through running. I have been a brand ambassador for DottieForRunning for the past 2 years. Employment Gap: I was furloughed and later laid off from IDC in May 2020 due to Covid-19. I worked at a Nanny from July 2020-April 2021, while looking for another position in my field. In April, I lost my identical twins in the 5th month of my pregnancy. I took the last 6 months away from working to heal. I am looking forward to reentering the professional world. I believe my experience has created deeper empathy, patience, perseverance, and strength of character.
