Hi, I’m Resham!Science has always been my way of understanding the world My journey began with a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, where I fell in love with molecules, reactions, and the intricate beauty of life itselfThat curiosity grew into a deep passion for biotechnology, leading me to pursue a Master’s in Biotechnology from Northeastern University-an experience I will cherish forever!What drives me most is the impact of science on people’s livesWatching biotechnology accelerate during and after the COVID-19 pandemic strengthened my determination to contribute to innovations that transform healthcare and bring hope to patients🧬During my Master’s, I had an incredible opportunity to work as a Discovery Immunology Co-op at Immunitas Therapeutics. There, I explored cell biology, T-cell regulation, and breast cancer research-a stepping stone that inspired me to focus on cancer research and truly understand the difference a scientist can make in patients’ lives. I gained hands-on experience in immune cell culture, functional assays, flow cytometry, and lab operations, learning how precision, curiosity, and teamwork drive real scientific progressToday, I’m thrilled to be a full-time Research Associate-Hem/Oncology at Nationwide Children\'s Hospital, working in Dr. James’ lab, where I have an opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to eradicating cancer in pediatric patients.
