ABOUT REINER ERNST

Reiner Ernst - Senior Director Strategic Clients Group at Oracle. Previously he was Senior Director Sales for the Oracle Middleware Cloud Platform (Public and Private PaaS) at ORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG. His responsibilities include the management and direction of a sales team with solution sales reps and lead account managers covering the German key, lead and named accounts in commercial markets. The solution portfolio includes private and public PaaS, Exalogic, App Server, SOA, BPM, Transaction Processing, WebCenter and IDM. Reiner Ernst joined Oracle in April 2007 with the acquisition of Stellent Inc, where he was responsible as a Sales and Territory Manager for selling Web and Enterprise Content Management solutions to key customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Since February 1998 Reiner Ernst had several Sales and Marketing positions at various Content Management companies such as CoreMedia, Documentum and Open Text. His professional career in the IT industry began in 1989 as a System Software Developer for UNIX and X/Windows based systems at Siemens AG. He then held various positions as a Lead Architect, Project Manager and Development Manager for a team of twenty software developers at Siemens-Nixdorf AG, before he became the first Sales Development Manager for a new Business Unit “Internet Services” at Siemens Business Services GmbH in October 1996. Reiner Ernst holds an Engineering Graduate of the University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Dipl-Ing. Hochschule Niederrhein).
