My transition into this role follows five years in the Kentucky House of Representatives, where I made history as the first woman to represent the 67th District and served as House Minority Whip. During my tenure in Frankfort, I was a primary architect of cannabis legislation and a national leader in mental healthcare policy, serving as Chair of the NCOIL Joint State-Federal Relations Committee.Before entering public service, I spent two decades as an entrepreneur and branding strategist. As the founder of The Yoga Bar and Bija Yoga School, I transformed a mindfulness concept into an award-winning regional brand centered on the philosophy of Sangha—the power of community.
