I have been invited as a visiting faculty member to deliver a series of contributory lectures on Indian Knowledge System (2C) for the Integrated M.Sc. Biotechnology programme (NEP Year I & Year II). This interdisciplinary course, aligned with the Ministry of Education\'s IKS Division, explores traditional Indian scientific wisdom and its relevance to modern biotechnological domains.My role includes designing and delivering sessions that contextualize classical Indian texts and indigenous practices within the scope of microbiology, fermentation, health sciences, and agriculture. I draw upon ancient treatises such as the Charaka Samhita, Atharvaveda, and traditional ecological knowledge systems, making them accessible and applicable for young scientists and researchers.As part of this engagement, I collaborate with the academic team to integrate storytelling, primary sources, and critical reflections to encourage research-oriented and culturally rooted scientific thinking among students.
