ABOUT RENAUD DAENZER
As a Manager at Aurel Systems, I lead a team of engineers and developers who create and deliver dynamic chemical process simulations and advanced online applications for clients in various industries, such as minerals processing, pulp and paper, oil and gas, and water treatment. With over 4 years of experience in this role, I have facilitated the conversion of hundreds of process P & IDs into \"Living Drawings\" using CADSIM Plus, a high-fidelity process simulator that enables design, investigation, improvement, operation, and optimization of new or existing processes.In addition to my role at Aurel, I also collaborate with a multifunctional team at Twinsight3D, where we provide leading edge digital twin solutions to mining and metallurgical companies. I have a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a strong background in gold leaching technologies, electroreduction/oxidation, and analytical characterization. Some of my notable achievements include managing and operating a full-scale electro-reduction system for selenium removal, building and commissioning a nano-filtration/reverse osmosis mobile demo-plant for wastewater demineralization, and conducting lab-scale demonstration of SART technology for improved gold leaching and cyanide recovery. My mission is to help industrial processing plants achieve their digital transformation goals and optimize their environmental performance by leveraging my expertise in process simulation, hydrometallurgy, and water treatment. I am passionate about solving complex engineering problems, applying hands-on approaches, and delivering high-quality results.
