ABOUT RENNIE EVANS

I am a Chartered Accountant specialising in assisting SMEs, especially in the Engineering and Metal Manufacturing sectors, to become more successful.I have worked for large international practices both in the UK, Kenya and Somalia, from trainee through to partner level, working with an extremely diverse range of businesses both in size, complexity and industry sector. In particular we work with engineering and manufacturing businesses in the metals sector. Typically those businesses suffer from- downward pressure on price- margins being constantly squeezed- customers paying late resulting in cash flow pressures- requirements for investment in expensive machinery- lack of available finance- directors working too hard and too many hours- directors not making enough moneyI started and successfully grew an accounting practice with three offices over 17 years before selling it in 2006. I have therefore experienced first hand the majority of issues facing the entrepreneurs of SMEs. After experiencing life as a partner in a national top 14 firm of accountants for just over 3 years, I founded my second accounting practice Prospero Accounting Ltd in January 2010. We have a friendly, down to earth approach and our primary focus is on helping our clients grow their businesses, maximize their profits, improve their cash flow and achieve their goals by being proactive.
