I am a dedicated Human Resources professional with over twenty years of leadership experience gained during my time in the U.S. Air Force. As a retired Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, I developed and honed my leadership abilities in telecommunications and personnel management. My military career has been marked by a consistent record of delivering results in high-pressure environments, showcasing resilience and adaptability. I am recognized as a strategic communicator, adept at managing multiple priorities, driving performance, and fostering collaboration among team members. Before my military service, I spent six years in retail management, where I refined my skills in sales, loss prevention, and team development. After completing my active duty, I transitioned to human resources at a construction and telecommunications company for two years. In this role, I partnered with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, supported workforce planning, and ensured compliance with policies and labor regulations. My background in both operations and HR underscores my commitment to organizational development and employee engagement. I hold the SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) and PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications from the Project Management Institute. I am highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word. This technical knowledge complements my people-focused approach to leadership.
