Principal Investigator: Prof. Jacqueline Lees• Identified collateral sensitivities in PRMT5 inhibitor (PRMT5i)-resistant lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) cells through analysis of a large-scale drug screen, and discovered that distinct PRMT5i-resistant LUAD cell lines have increased sensitivity to CDK, MEK and HDAC inhibition.• Examined the consequences of sequential versus concurrent treatment of PRMT5i and the HDAC inhibitor Panobinostat.• Determined that sequential treatment leads cells to a doubly resistant state, based on phenotypic properties and transcriptomics, while concurrent treatment prevents resistance from emerging.
