Renika is: A enthusiastic Coding/HIM, Privacy, and Security Leader that embraces new ideas and technology. Creates an HIM/Coding, Privacy, and Security environment in which employees are given tools and resources to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and achieve growth. I have over a decade of experience in HIM/Coding and Privacy and Security. I have changed the face of many HIM Departments by improving or implementing new processes and workflows. My methodology is to utilize technology in the HIM/ Coding department to maximize patient safety, quality, productivity, and outcomes. Some of my career-related achievements consist of: Revenue improvement by decreasing DNFB and Bill Hold days, Improve ROI TAT, while promoting the ultimate protection of PHI through education and training, Improved CDI Outcomes by setting KPI’s based on organizational need, tracking KPI’s and education.
