Built a data warehouse and supporting ETL processes to extract data from cloud-based ERP/EHR sources and load into SQL Server which expanded self-service reporting/analytics. Replaced inefficient and manual data processes with maintainable automated solutions. Assembled datasets for government mandated reports and legal audits requiring a high degree of accuracy. • Utilized SSIS, stored procedures, C#, and BIML to develop dynamic ETL processes. Developed data export processes for integration into cloud-based vendor systems and provided support after implementation. Collaborated with vendors to solve data-related issues. Migrated/converted 1 TB of historic hospital/healthcare data from DB2 to SQL Server 2016. • Developed Power BI dashboards, SSRS reports, queries, and datasets in response to financial and clinical data needs. Configured row-level security in Power BI using data from custom form developed using X++ in Dynamics AX. Administered Power BI Gateway and configured Gateway data sources. Resolved SSAS cube refresh/performance issues and managed security. • Provided support for clustered SQL Server instances (on-premises/Azure VM) and Azure SQL. Performed troubleshooting on issues involving blocking, outdated statistics, parameter sniffing, and connectivity. Supported software installations and upgrades. Configured security, Agent jobs, maintenance plans, and alerts. Tuned poorly performing queries.
