Renée LaBran is a seasoned executive, investor, and Board Director with financial and digital expertise. She currently serves on the Boards of B. Riley Financial (NASDAQ: RILY), Idealab, and Guidewell Education. In recent years, she has also served on the boards of Iconic Sports Acquisition Corp (NYSE: ICNC-UN, Sambazon, Inc, TomboyX, and was Gov. Brown\'s appointee to the Board of the State Bar of CA (regulatory board) as a non-attorney public member, where she was been instrumental in the turn-around of the organization and the board itself. In addition to her boards, Renee is an adjunct professor at UCLA Anderson Business School, consults on strategy and M&A, and advises many early-stage entrepreneurs. After starting her post-MBA career as a management consultant to Fortune 500 companies, Renée worked for Times Mirror where in addition to managing over $300M in revenues, she became an early pioneer in the Internet space, co-founding two Internet start-ups backed by media companies. From Times Mirror, Renée moved into venture capital, moving from early stage technology companies to providing growth capital to consumer products companies.
