The Mental Health Association of Maryland (MHAMD) is the second oldest mental health advocacy group in the nation, which conducts education, training and services oversight programs with state and national impact.In my current position, I mainly focus on coordinating a program for older adults, but I also have the opportunity to create marketing collateral, track the program\'s effectiveness, improve internal processes, build the program from the ground up through lead generation, and raise awareness through community outreach. • Orchestrate the daily operations of the “Engage with Older Adults” grant-funded training program, including the transition from the pilot stages to implementation • Grew the Engage training program by 10x (from 200 to clients in 21 long term care and assisted living facilities) over 17 months through lead generation, networking, conferences and trade shows, prospecting and cold-calling and exceeded goals by 22%• Manage training schedule, including training materials for classes, program tracking and evaluation process• Track, report and analyze program effectiveness• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports for the program• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, national trade shows, and other outreach events to address public health concerns and raise awareness surrounding mental illness; help clients access resources• Design training modules and marketing collateral for the program including promotional items, flyers, booth materials for upcoming events, quick glance reference guides, and educational reference materials• Develop compelling content for and implement social media marketing plan to promote the Engage program• Nationally certified Mental Health First Aid instructor. Also, co-teach a segment of the Engage with training program• Record meeting minutes for the MHAMD Board Meetings, BrainFutures Board Meetings and the Finance and Administration Committee Meetings
