About René Edde
I’m a sustainability strategist working where supply chains, biomimicry, and social impact intersect. I hold an executive master’s in sustainability leadership and am earning a second master’s degree and professional certification in biomimicry. My work is rooted in nature’s intelligence as a practical guide for redesigning the systems we depend on, from global trade to local governance. Right now, my focus is Rewilding Resilience, a living experiment in transformation unfolding during a personal health crisis. It reframes resilience as evolving forward by looking at how nature adapts, regenerates, and thrives through disruption. Through biomimicry, personal storytelling, and real-time reflection, I explore what it means to navigate rupture without losing a sense of self. Much of my work is grounded in coffee and cocoa supply chains where deforestation, climate disruption, and inequities threaten the farmers and smallholders who make these products possible. I work with industry partners to design transparent, trust-centered systems that support regenerative agriculture, protect forests, and strengthen rural livelihoods. I believe the strongest systems in nature, business, and life are built on trust, equity, and the ability to adapt. My work is about making that real and lasting.
