Sr. Manager, Organized Play Tools and Business Systems, supporting a team that will support our Retailers, Professors, Players and Events globally at the Pokemon Company international!My managerial philosophy is to trust my team to make the right decisions and help them and our stakeholders understand priorities, options, risks & mitigation. I encourage creative thinking, continuous learning & a certain level of risk taking by always \"having their backs\"! I employ a \"scrum\" like methodology of constant retrospectives, fine-tuning of day-to-day performance & execution.My desire to be a true servant leader was nurtured over a 17.5 yr tenure at Nordstrom, where a superior level of customer service applied to every human interaction. A \"family\" culture & environment that enables empowerment, trust, transparency, & integrity are the foundations to a successful operation. Cultivating this within all of those in my reach is my #1 priority! I\'m happy to say that TPCi enables and supports this culture!At Pokémon, I have been thankful for the opportunity to grow a department from the ground up in Business Applications and watching it transform into something bigger than me. I have also had the honor to co-found the TPCi Parents Employee Resource Group, then once organized acting as Support Lead in 2022 and Lead in 2023. Now, I embark on a new journey that will allow me to connect with a special group of fans over in Organized Play!
