ABOUT RENEE SCHULTZ
After thirty years working in Capital Markets, most recently (past 22 years) at Fannie Mae, I am expanding my advocacy for diversity in the mortgage industry and supporting communities through PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust (PMT), Saint Mary’s College Notre IN, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Palm Beach & Martin Counties. For many Americans, buying a home is a momentous occasion in their lives. As Senior Vice President at Fannie Mae, I led a team who was charged with providing liquidity in the capital market to benefit homeowners, establish and implement credit pricing terms, execute strategies to transfer credit risk associated with Fannie Mae’s Single-Family guaranty business, trade mortgage-backed securities (MBS), structure and re-securitize MBS, purchase and subsequently securitize whole loans and purchase pools and whole loans using early funding options. As a Trustee at PMT, my capital markets experience and knowledge helps shape governance and strategy at the board level. Throughout my tenure I have made a special commitment to attract and help women succeed in a career of finance. As a Trustee of Saint Mary’s College I am fortunate to further this encouragement and also leverage my business acumen to support the College in a number of ways, including two sub-committees; Finance and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Justice.
