ABOUT RENEE REN

As an associate at MUFG, one of the world\'s leading financial groups, I apply my financial analysis skills and knowledges to support the middle office initiatives. I work closely with market data vendors every day, such as Bloomberg, IDC, Markit, Reuters, and using Excel, SQL, VBA to collect, process, and visualize data from multiple sources. I also contributed to the development and implementation of the automate workflows that improved the efficiency and accuracy of the trades\' and prices\' loading.My passion for finance and economics stems from my academic background, which includes a Master of Arts in Business Economics from Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from the University of Waterloo. I also hold a Bachelor of Management in Financial Management from Shandong Normal University, where I gained a solid foundation in quantitative methods and financial modelling. During my studies, I acquired multiple certifications, such as MS office and SQL, and learned non-native languages to enhance my professional skills and broaden my perspectives.I am always eager to learn new things and challenge myself, and I value collaboration and innovation. My goal is to leverage my knowledge and experience to deliver value and excellence to MUFG and its clients, and to grow as a finance professional in a dynamic and global environment.
