ABOUT RENEE HULTIN

As a senior executive, I have had responsibility for managing businesses for global multimillion-dollar organizations. I have guided these companies in setting priorities, gaining strategic and tactical alignment across business units/regions, and creating innovative business models that drive revenue growth and profitability.Over the course of my career, I have developed expertise in virtually all business functions, including organizational leadership, strategic planning, and operations management. I have also acquired extensive experience in business development, marketing, sales, P&L management, and talent acquisition.My strengths, according my colleagues, include my ability to listen to others and balance diverse perspectives. I always try to find the perfect solution, but I find that I often have to take “good enough” solutions and tweak them as events unfold. In my current role as Chief Operating Officer, at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), I leverage my strengths to lead a $100M business—with 550 employees and 600+ associates. Part of my role involves developing and executing strategy and aligning with other regions to optimize organizational resources and capabilities. I also provide the leadership, business insight, and accountability measures needed to ensure clients receive cutting-edge leadership development products and solutions that are consistent with CCL’s brand.One of the things I enjoy most about my current role is having the opportunity to help others climb the organizational ladder and grow/develop professionally. I recently learned that a previous employee, who is now a successful entrepreneur, credits me as being one of her most influential mentors. I was elated to hear this—it reminds me of the importance of the leadership development work that we, at CCL, do every day with clients.
