Even though my degree is in criminal justice, I was introduced to patient care while working in a retail pharmacy and quickly realized my passion lies within healthcare and serving patients. I have been intentional about my career trajectory ever since—from retail pharmacy/pharmacy consulting to multi-site practice management and hospital outpatient operations.Striving to always keep the patient at the forefront, I pride myself on achieving the delicate balance of meeting organizational strategic goals while maximizing patient outcomes for the healthcare departments I have been fortunate to lead. Additionally, my goal-oriented and empowering management style has been instrumental in steering and growing employee careers. I am not afraid to be innovative, and can leverage business needs and goals to drive team performance while maintaining a high level of engagement. Still, I am the proudest of my resilience and ability to lead in even the most challenging circumstances- including rolling up my sleeves and leading the construction of a COVID vaccination clinic, including staffing and workflow development over a 10-day period which vaccinated ~2K people.
