ABOUT CULLER

Opened in December of 2017, my new studio, Rene Culler Glass includes a showroom of my work in glass and additional space for creating new work and commissions. I will be teaching master classes in various glass techniques. The studio is open by appointment. I form glass within the kiln by fusing and casting to create sculpture and work for the wall. Work is collected by the Smithsonian, American Museum of Art, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Glass Furnace in Istanbul, and MAVA, the national museum of glass in Madrid, Spain. I design fused glass compositions and installations for the wall and my work is seen in prominent public spaces throughout the U.S: University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic, Robert Woods Johnson, ForestCity Enterprises, Developers Diversified.Specialties: I create innovative work primarily in glass, in addition to writing about art and glass, and teaching. My book: Glass Art From the Kiln was published in the fall of 2010, I am working on another.
