By identifying a notable customer base, I determine efficient possibilities to market payroll transferring services. I design and perform numerous sales and marketing projects while developing initiative-related materials and items. To enable business development and growth, I devise go-to-market strategies to provide insights on company scaling. By implementing experimental pilots in British Columbia and Quebec farms, I allow extensive money transfer functions from occasional agricultural labourers in Canada to related families in Mexico. Key Accomplishments: Formulated pertinent database of over potential farms in Canada, recruiting multiple farm workers from Mexico by actively examining and reviewing Canada’s agricultural industry trends. Conceptualized and enabled the business-to-business (B2B) international money transfer process that allowed LABORA to remit payroll transfers on behalf of seasonal agricultural workers through multiple transactions in two years. Signed contractual sponsorship agreement with British Columbia Agriculture Council (BCAC) and engaged in multiple agriculture shows, mail-outs, email initiatives, physical interviews, cold calls, and advertisements in farmer magazines to elevate business awareness with farm owners. Acquired a $120K grant from the British Columbia Investment Agriculture Foundation by performing and governing pertinent application processes. Attained Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) validation as Money Service Business and applied for registration of LABORA trademark. Communicated agreements with National Commission for Retirement Savings in Mexico to aid Mexicans in money transfer services from Canada to their AFORES (Retirement Funds Administrators in Spanish) accounts in Mexico. Spearheaded internal Labora team to achieve SFU Top Venture Prize of $30K and over 10 entrepreneurial awards in three consecutive years.
