After a sabbatical year in Los Angeles, I am back in Europe. Going to the US was a family decision and the opportunity to discover a new culture. I have absolutely no regrets: it was a fantastic experience, and I gained valuable insights from fabulous people.I have always steered my professional journey with dual ambitions: uncovering new horizons and collaborating with inspiring colleagues. My intellectual curiosity drove me to find answers to the most pressing questions throughout my career. I faced multiple challenges, such as solving tough issues or acquiring knowledge on an entirely unknown topic. I permanently developed new collaborations within my company and with external laboratories. After all, sharing others\' experiences and multicultural work is probably the best path to success. And last but not least, I relished helping people from my teams to develop themselves. If I have played a role in their growth, I\'m proud of it.I faced my greatest challenge as a manager during the Covid-19 crisis. We shifted overnight to complete remote working, partial unemployment, and lockdown: arduous! No one knew how to react, what would happen next, or how long it would last. But we faced it!From my standpoint, turning a \'No, it is infeasible\' into a \'Yes, we did it!\' makes the attraction of the job. To do so, I believe in thinking outside the box while capitalizing on the return of experience.
