ABOUT RENATT BRODSKY

I am an accomplished media relations professional with more than a decade of expertise working in hospital and healthcare media relations. I have worked with two of the largest health systems in the country (Mount Sinai Health System and NYU Langone Health) and have a proven track record of generating positive and proactive media hits that reach national and international audiences. I have secured hundreds of feature stories in top tier media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, AP, Reuters, The New York Post, Good Morning America, The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, Fox News, and many more. I am a results driven collaborater, trusted advisor, pitcher, writer, content strategist and long-term relationship builder. I’m currently employed at DKC, a public relations firm in Manhattan. As a senior vice president, I help to oversee the company’s healthcare division. I work with clients such as NYU Langone Heath, NYU Langone Heart, NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center, NYU Langone Hospital- Brooklyn, Carrot Fertility, K9s for Warriors, The Phoenix, Project Rozana and others. I creatively elevate brands, leaders and impactful stories that educate and inspire others. For nearly a decade, I was employed as the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York. My daily responsibilities included securing daily print and broadcast coverage in local and national media outlets, pitching medical and science stories, writing scientific press releases, arranging press conferences, crisis management and meeting with top physicians and researchers at medical conferences. In 2003, I started Renatt Brodsky Communications, a media relations company, and worked with high profile clients such as Johnson & Johnson; Restylane; Dr. Brandt Skincare; L\'Oreal; Dr. Andrew Jacono, a facial and reconstructive surgeon; and Dr. Jeffrey Morrison, founder of The Morrison Center in Manhattan. Additionally, Reggae singer and top Billboard artist, Matisyahu hired me as his publicist for a charity concert event. I have experience writing and editing articles, press releases, byline stories, weekly e-newsletters, bios, letters of intent, grant proposal and speeches. I’ve also copy-edited websites, created press kits and fundraising/marketing materials.
