I am a Senior Manager in the Technology Risk Services department at KPMG Canada. I manage IT audits including tests of design and effectiveness, documentation of general IT controls (ITGC), process mapping and process analysis. For NYSE or NASDAQ companies our audit follows the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. I have also been participating in IT advisory projects, such as governance framework implementation and the identification and assessment of operational risks for our clients. Additionally, I have experience presenting audit results, risk assessments, and IT control findings to Risk Committees and Audit Committees.During my 13 years in external audit at KPMG, I have dealt with clients from various sectors; such as financial services, banking, fintech, food, agribusiness, petrochemical, oil and gas, steel production, engines, busses and trailers manufacturing and energy.One of my previous major clients was one of the world\'s largest digital financial services platforms (a NYSE company). With this client, I was in-charge of managing all IT tests, such as ITGC (GitHub and AWS environments), Automated Controls and ETL (data lake) interfaces.
