ABOUT RENATA MILTON

Over the past two decades, I have lived in four countries and more than eight cities, each experience shaping my observation, interpretation, and adaptability. Navigating diverse cultures has strengthened my resilience and deepened my ability to pursue ambitious projects, goals, and dreams. My professional background spans infrastructural development and renewable energy, where I have applied strategic thinking and problem-solving to complex challenges. Having recently graduated from Pratt Institute’s Interior Design MFA program, I have built a strong foundation in design principles, space planning, and material exploration. My academic and professional journey has equipped me with interdisciplinary skills essential to thriving in the design field. I am deeply committed to creating spaces that prioritize users’ well-being and comfort—an approach that merges science and artistry to craft environments that inspire while enhancing quality of life. Interior design, to me, is a continuous pursuit of creative, disruptive, and innovative problem-solving. As users\' needs and the realities of our world evolve, designers must anticipate, adapt, and challenge conventional approaches. My goal is to continuously refine my tools and knowledge to ensure my work has a lasting impact on spatial experiences. Thoughtful design transcends aesthetics—it facilitates systems, fosters emotional connection, and enriches everyday interactions. It is also a powerful platform for advocacy, championing sustainable materials and technologies that promote environmental and psychological well-being. I believe in design’s transformative power to create spaces that resonate with both nature and human experience. By weaving sustainability, harmony, and innovation into built environments, I strive to craft spaces that enhance the lives of those who inhabit them.
