Responsible to ensure and increase the profitability of the Business Unit Inorganic Pigments (IPG) in the Americas region: • Defining customers sales strategies in the region, negotiating and determining contract terms with customers, and guiding team members in their negotiation.• Assuring the implementation of pricing strategies according to the Global guidance, while balancing input from customers, market trends, and competitive actions against cost developments.• Guiding and enabling CAPEX (capital expenditure) implementation at target level.• Guaranteeing safe and cost effective operation of Mixing and Milling plant by monitoring and controlling all plant/process operations, occupational safety, environmental and health protection, compliance and quality.• Implementing supply chain management strategies to increase efficiency and speed, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper distribution and shipping of finished products to the customers.• Ensuring sales forecast implementation, adequate forecast inventory needs and production schedules in the region, to enable on time delivery and improve the production and quality of goods. • Controlling working capital in the region, maintaining DSI (days sales of inventory) and DSO (days sales outstanding) at target levels.• Managing the whole business unit team in the AMS region, stimulating good environment, through discussions, meetings, conflict resolution, and change management, guided by the values and principles of LANXESS Performance Culture.
