Nora brings 20 years of experience in the Canadian federal government, primarily with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE). She served as Deputy Senior Liaison Officer in Washington, DC, where she represented CSE in the US. Before this role, she led the front-end team at the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security is adept at building and maintaining international and domestic partnerships, particularly within the international security and intelligence community. Initially an Arabic linguist, she is a subject matter expert in intelligence analysis, operational policy development and compliance, SIGINT, Canadian national security, cyber threats, and Middle Eastern geopolitical issues.Prior to her role, she served as a senior coordinator and liaison officer, managing events with national security implications, working with Government of Canada departments, and drafting briefings for senior leadership. Nora has led operational teams responsible for major operations, overseeing intelligence analysts, cyber experts, and linguists.With over a decade in intelligence and national security, Nora has consistently led or contributed to multi-disciplinary teams on complex operations and projects, across the Canadian and Five Eyes communities.
