Effective data protection starts with trust.For over 20 years, I’ve helped organizations across Airlines, Agriculture, Government, Copper Mining, Oil & Gas, and others protect what matters most: their data, their reputation, and their ability to operate with confidence in a digital-first world.I specialize in Microsoft Purview and enterprise Data Security, partnering with business and technical leaders to design and deliver end-to-end Data Protection frameworks that balance regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and business enablement. My work consistently focuses on translating complex security requirements into practical, scalable, and defensible solutions.One of my most impactful engagements was leading the end-to-end Data Protection strategy for a global Copper Mining organization, built entirely from the ground up. This program became the foundation of their data security posture and included- Defining enterprise-wide Data Classification standards and implementing automated labeling at scale- Deploying data discovery across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) to uncover and govern sensitive data- Designing and operationalizing Data Loss Prevention (DLP), including policy strategy, tuning, and a sustainable operating model- Establishing Insider Risk Management policies and workflows aligned to real business risk scenarios- Automating compliance insights by integrating Microsoft Purview telemetry with Power BI, enabling executive-level visibility and decision-makingMy career reflects a deep, hands-on evolution across Microsoft technologies, such as, Active Directory, Exchange, M365, Azure, Identity, and ultimately Data Security. This breadth allows me to approach data protection holistically, understanding how identity, collaboration, cloud, and security controls intersect across the enterprise.My mission is simple: build trust.
