Senior Manager II, Strategy Execution Office (equivalent to Director of PMO in most organizations, however, focused on strategic initiatives and new product introduction (NPI)) • Works directly with CIO/VP of Strategy Execution Office to develop, implement, and communicate the strategic framework and initiatives. • Acts as a trusted strategic advisor, working alongside business leaders to help determine which projects should be undertaken, why, and when not just how. • Works with product management executives to prioritize business unit priorities and provides leadership to team members to meet project goals, including deadlines, cost targets, and project schedules. • Manages a broad mix of portfolios that contain hardware development, software development, integrated hardware/firmware development, and IT efforts. Multiple project management methodologies are utilized: waterfall, agile, scaled-agile, discovery-based innovation, and hybrid applications. Simply ensuring the right tool is used for the right job. • Partners with engineering leadership to manage, mature, and utilize an internal stage-gate process for new product development and high-risk continuous improvement initiatives. • Leads the development of project management methodologies, standards, reporting, and tools to support strategic and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives. • Manages a team of program, project, and organizational change managers, which will include delegating projects and resources as well as coaching to improve performance. Manages programs utilizing principles from PMI & PMBOK (i.e, Procurement, Schedule, Integration, Scope, Cost, Human Resources, Risk, Quality, and Communications Management) • Serves as the primary link between key customers and steering committee to ensure communication of status and potential problem areas while advising on how to mitigate those concerns.
